Report ranks Houston near top for new and expanded corporate facilities

The Houston Business Journal reported today that Houston is ranked number 2 in the nation for new and expanded business facilty sites with 196 specific projects in the region. Citing a press release from the Greater Houston Partnership, it is reported that since 2011, the Houston metropolitan statistical area has ranked among the top three metros for corporate relocations and expansions in the nation.

"The rankings are based on Site Selection’s Conway Projects Database, which tracks new corporate facility projects, such as headquarters, manufacturing plants, R&D operations and logistics sites."
